My research focuses on low-power and high-performance microprocessor design, many-core processors, system architecture, power management of exa-scale high performance computing systems, VLSI design for embedded systems.

Current research Projects:
1. Power Management for Supercomputers:
Architecture and system software for large scale high-performance computer systems, power management framework for next-generation supercomputers.
2. Cognitive Computing:
High-performance and low-power neurochip design for cognitive computing. Power management of IT equipment with activity recognition.
3. 3D-LSI for Building-Block Computing Systems:
LSI architecture for building-block computing systems using inductive coupling interconnect.
4. High-Performance and Low-Power Processors:
Microprocessor architecture for high-performance and low-power, multi-core and many-core processors, power/energy modeling of computer systems.
